Introduction to Nature Journaling - Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

Nature journaling is a way of deepening our connection with nature and understanding the world around us. The process of nature journaling involves asking questions, observing closely, reflecting on ourobservations and capturing all this on paper using words, pictures and numbers. Nature journaling brings together elements of science, art and mindfulness.

In this workshop we will begin to look at nature through a lens of curiosity and wonder. We will learn tools and techniques for keeping a nature journal and then spend time creating a nature journaling page, drawing inspiration from the flora and fauna in the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

Nature journaling allows us to see the world with new eyes!
